The rule this demonstrates
A strip narrower than about 2 m is side-strip-nozzle or drip territory (R6), not a reason to soak the wall. Below about 1.2 m only drip is left.
What this design does not show
This is a deliberately hard case. In narrow corridors the engine can still wet part of a wall — we publish the overspray figure instead of hiding it.
